Informatics and Media Education

The research of the Informatics and Media Education working group focuses on the empirically grounded development of computer science education within the context of advancing digitalization and innovations in artificial intelligence. At the core are effective teaching and learning designs, competence development, and questions concerning the informed design of technology-based teaching and learning. Computer science is understood as the foundation of contemporary digital education, linking subject-specific understanding, societal reflection, and action competence.
