Qualification

We support our researchers with a wide range of services at every stage of their careers and promote academic staff development. Tailored training programmes are offered by the Research Department and the Graduate Academy of the Baden-Württemberg Universities of Education, which is based here in Karlsruhe.

Current training opportunities

As part of our academic staff development programme, the Research Office and the Graduate Academy offer an ongoing range of training opportunities for researchers. These include, in particular, courses focusing on research and methodological skills.

The new programme cycle for 2026–2028 got underway with a launch event held at our university on 17 July 2026.

Since July 2022, the universities of teacher education in Baden-Württemberg and the Graduate Academy (graPH) have been offering a joint mentoring programme. This programme is aimed at postdoctoral researchers pursuing an academic career, as well as those holding a junior professorship or a tenure-track professorship at the universities of teacher education in Baden-Württemberg. In its first year, the programme was initially launched as a pilot project at the universities of education in Karlsruhe, Ludwigsburg and Schwäbisch Gmünd. Since July 2023, all six universities of education in Baden-Württemberg have been participating in the mentoring programme.
